2013 Sema Show and the first Las Vegas experience
First of all, a little context… 2013, first trip to the U.S. for me and I did it with Ale Minissale, Liber and my dear friend Marky, the plan, go to Sema Show and all the Kustom shops and events we could attend.
We landed on Los Angeles, rented a car and I drove the 4 hour trip, just in time to get into Las Vegas at sunset, and the first impression was…OMG! the size of everything…the scale of the buildings is surreal…!!!
Although Sema Show is not a that much of a Kustom Kulture show… is definitely something to experience if you are a car guy. The amount of incredible things to see is indescriptible, when you get there, you realize you wont be able to see everything…so you’ll have to choose what you see. For us, of course, was everything Kustom related, and get to see the most shocking low riders and hot rods.
More than 10 years later, I still have memories of us 4 walking through Las Vegas boulevard, going to Fremont street, seeing dirt roads with abandoned cars just two blocks away from the main road, the all sizes and shapes of Limos…
There’s a saying that says “you shouldn't go back to the places you've being happy…” but in this case, I think I want to come back again and take a second shot, who knows, maybe I win something at the Roulette…
