Hangar Rockin on 35mm

If you read the previous Blog “Driving Hot Rods from Italy to Switzerland” you will know where we are, and if you didn’t, this is a selection of photos from one of the greatest Hot Rod shows in Europe, Hangar Rockin Festival.

Of course I shoot digital that weekend, but there’s something about analog photography and Hot Rods, that is so great and wonderful. Here are some of the photos taken with my Canon RT on Kodak Gold 200.

One of the cars that blew my mind, was this green Dragster powered by a Flathead with a Hilborn intake. Later that day and thanks to Mario, I got the chance to meet the owner, Stefan from the SCTA Hornets Germany and hear all the story behind the Dragster. It’s actually one of the first Dragsters from that era, with one of the first intakes with mechanical fuel injection made by Hilborn in the late ‘40…so yes, it was That special that car!

I’m a really lucky guy and I so grateful for all the people I get to know through photography.

Thanks!
Don’t miss the next blog…
